Protective stocking serves as mechanical protection for the stump that is completely healed after surgery. It mitigates the adverse effects to which the limb is exposed and prevents direct contact of the stump of the amputated limb with the socket of the prosthesis. This mitigates the adverse external influences (blistering, cold) to which the stump is exposed during fixation of the prosthesis.

How do I choose the right size stump sleeve?
To select the correct size of the sleeve, measure the length of the stump and the circumference at the top of the stump. In the case of Prona Termo and Prona Light, divide the circumference of the stump by two to get the width of the sleeve. Then proceed with the selection according to the size chart.
